OVERVIEW

Each month, we rely on additional volunteer leaders to help keep the group on pace and safe as we takeover the streets of PB!

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set the group's pace

• Act as crossing guards at major streets

• Help us avoid other pedestrians/bikers on crowded paths

• Make sure no runner is left behind

• Beacons can sign up to volunteer for a single run or up to a month

• During winter months: Wednesday beacons MUST bring a headlamp, flashlight, or equivalent (light up party vest does not count)

WHO YOU ARE

• You've attended at least (1) PBRC run before

• Prioritize the safety of the group

• Has a tracking device (ideally watch) 

• Can hold a 9-9:15/mi pace

• Can tell the difference between a green & red light

• Hair looks good flowing in the wind

• MUST be a human (Pups have to stay at home - sorry)
